Terms of use
Last updated September 14, 2026
These terms cover forqrcode.com and the software we provide through it. The privacy policy is part of the same agreement. If you disagree, do not use the site.
Agreement
By using ForQRCode you accept these terms. We operate from 11781 NE Glisan St, Portland, Oregon 97220, US. Questions go to hi@forqrcode.com.
The service
ForQRCode is a web tool for making QR codes and barcodes, saving them, tracking scans on dynamic codes, short links, and related dashboard features. We may add, change, or drop features. Software in the browser may update on its own.
Accounts
You need an account for saved codes, dynamic links, and paid plans. You are responsible for the password and for what happens on the account. You must be 13 or older. If you sign in with Google, you still agree to these terms.
Static and dynamic codes
A static QR code or barcode encodes the payload in the pattern. After you download it, it does not depend on our servers. We do not cap scans on static files.
A dynamic QR code encodes a link to ForQRCode. We then send the scanner to the content you set. You can change that content later and see scan stats. Dynamic codes need a working account and our service. If the account closes or the site is down, those codes may stop resolving.
Do not encode malware, phishing pages, or content that is illegal where you and we operate.
Your content
You keep the rights to logos and text you upload. You give us a license to store and display them so the service can work. Do not upload material you do not have the right to use.
Plans and payment
The generator is free to use in the browser. Paid plans are billed through Stripe at the price shown on the pricing page. Taxes may apply. We can change prices for later billing cycles. We will not change a cycle you already paid.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel a paid plan at any time. Access continues until the end of the period you paid for. We do not refund that period unless the law where you live says we must. Static files you already downloaded keep working. Dynamic codes may stop after the account or plan ends.
No warranty
We try to keep the site up. We do not promise it will always be available, error-free, or right for a particular print job. Scan a test copy with a phone before you print a large run. The service is provided as is.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or print runs that fail to scan. Our total liability for a claim is the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 50 USD if you paid nothing.
Oregon law
These terms follow the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Multnomah County, Oregon have venue, except where consumer law in your country says otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We will post the current terms on this page. Using the site after a change means you accept the new version.
